The mood is light, the spirit festive and the drinks cold in Downtown, where, once a month the pedestrian-friendly streets of Fremont Avenue transform into a huge block party during FIRST FRIDAY celebrating the Fremont Arts Festival. Each celebration, the entertainment shifts and multiplies as ice sculptors, fire breathers and fortunetellers serve as a back-drop for this ongoing festival of art appreciation. Local bands perform throughout the evening, and the streets turn into canvasses for children (young and old) to decorate with chalk. FIRST FRIDAY is a stage for local galleries and Las Vegas’ vital Downtown cultural scene. It’s a place to meet friends new and old, and rejoice in the preservation and innovation of an historical neighborhood. In this land of suburbs and strip malls, visitors come from near and far to people-watch, sample new restaurants and revel at area bars. Neuro Drinks were handed out to festival-goers and patrons alike at last month’s Fai and when shipments ran out due to popularity, Neuro-lovers were directed to nearby Walgreens and 7-11’s to re-stock.

Golf is usually a quiet and reserved sport, but at Sunday’s Athletes First Classic, it was anything but. Local golf enthusiasts joined pro football players including Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers), Brandon Jacobs (New York Giants), Mark Sanchez (New York Jets), Matt Cassell (Kansas City Chiefs), Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts) and many more for a raucous 18 holes of fun. They were treated to NeuroGasm cocktails, a DJ, massages and a pole dancing demonstration! The off course activities were more than enough for many of the players to forget about golfing and spend the afternoon sipping on NeuroGasm and vodka, while watching the dances. A few of the football players even took their own turn on the pole! The tournament was not just about fun and games, it was supporting a great cause – The Orangewood Children’s Foundation. The Orangewood Foundation has been serving abused and neglected children in the area for over 25 years.
Sir Elton John and David Furnish hosted the 18th Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) Academy Awards® Viewing Party and raised $3.7 Million for the fight against AIDS. The EJAF Viewing Party began with a cocktail reception, dinner and viewing of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, followed by a very exciting live auction and high voltage performance by the iconic Grace Jones.
Guests arrived for the 18th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Viewing party to a custom-built tent adorned in hues of red and tangerine, a decor inspired by designer Antony Todd’s travels. The custom-made cocktail bar was the nucleus of the glamorous gathering as stars such as Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers enjoyed Neuro “straight up” while others such as Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Adam Levine and many others imbibed on cocktails such as “Party Hopper” (NeuroTrim, Vodka, Grenadine), “Oscar Buzz” (NeuroSonic and Vodka) and “Island Girl” (NeuroBliss, Rum, Banana Liquer).
How Stars Look Great at the Oscars

Walking the red carpet? No Problem! Pamela Edwards Christiani, of Essence Magazine, shares a few products to make what can be a nerve-racking red carpet experience at the Oscars a walk in the park.
Walking down the red carpet on Oscar night can be nerve-wracking, even for Hollywood “A”-listers who’ve done it many times before.
What’s a star to do?
Pamela Edwards Christiani, beauty editor of Essence magazine, says it’s all about keeping your look together. On “The Early Show” she showed how the celebrities get through the stressful night — with a little help.
What about those long days on Oscar weekend – how does a star stay fresh?
Christiani said celebs are turning to Neuro Drinks, a new beverage that contains natural, exotic tropical flavors and essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and botanicals that are supposed to enhance and support a demanding round-the-clock lifestyle. The line features seven blends: NeuroGasm, NeuroSonic, NeuroBliss, NeuroSport, NeuroTrim, NeuroSleep and NeuroAqua, all individually crafted to provide beneficial elements that supposedly help you stay well. Christiani added Neuro Drinks will also be served at Elton John’s Oscar party this year.
As for keeping your look polished on the red carpet, Christiani recommends Hourglass cosmetics, a popular brand with celebrities. On the broadcast, Christiani featured the Prodigy lipgloss, a high shine sheer lip gloss featured in a sleek package that’s contoured to fit into the palm of the hand or discretely slipped into a pocket or clutch. The lipgloss is enriched with vitamin E and features water-resistant color.
Christiani said Oscar night jewelry is “really taking an interesting turn.”
She said, “Although we see the million dollar jewels on the carpet and are impressed with the baubles, there is a new trend that we see with a lot of celebrities wearing: costume jewelry, which is just as beautiful as the real stuff.”
The Lia Sophia jewelry line, Christiani said, has a following online. The brand, she said, has created a special collection called the Red Carpet Collection that is purely for their celebrity clientele, which is pricier and a bit edgier than normal.

Squats using Swiss ball. Place Swiss ball against a wall and lean your back against the ball and squat down. The ball should move up and down with your body.
Crunch on the Swiss ball. Doing crunches on the Swiss ball helps isolate the abs without causing stress on the back.
Dumbbell Chest Press using Swiss ball. Lay down on the ball so your back is touching the ball, and your chest is pointing to the ceiling. Grab 2 dumbbells and do chest presses while balancing your back on the ball.

When Naomi Campbell took a shot at Miodrag Mejdina in his Cadillac Escalade on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, there should have been a bell that went off. Evidently, he got such a whallop on the back of his head that he hit his forehead on the steering wheel and developed a shiner. Prior to this, there was the assistant who was hit with the cell phone, and the cops at Heathrow. Ms. Campbell has been swinging for a very long time and we want her to stop.
We are going to send Naomi NeuroBliss. NeuroBliss’s key ingredient, L-Theanine is an amino acid that can cross the blood-barrier in the brain, so it plays an active role in mood enhancement and relaxation. Some of the blissful benefits of L-Theanine include combating depression, stress and anxiety. It is also key in supporting the immune system and healthy blood pressure levels.
Forget Anger Management classes. Naomi’s been through them. We feel with some NeuroBliss and some deep breathing exercises, the world can be a safe place again, even with Naomi in it.
