Last weekend Neuro stopped by the world’s largest (over 44,000 in attendance) Anime convention in downtown Los Angeles. The convention offered all the newest tv show, movies, costumes, and characters in the world of Japanese animation. The most amazing part of this convention is what the fans bring. Many of the fans create their own elaborate costumes to look like their favorite anime characters. They go to great lengths to emulate the extreme hair cuts and radical costume and often look very close to the originals. Their creativity and hard work help make the convention truly unique and special.
Fans lined up to meet famous artists and voice actors. There were samples of upcoming new shows and rare episodes and collectors items from older ones. There were large parties each night for all the attendees and each afternoon there were many speakers talking about the growth and future of anime.
Neuro stopped by to help everyone keep their focus and maintain their calm. The event was a lot of fun but also a lot of work maintaining a costume and dealing with crowds of people. Lots of Neurosonic and Neurobliss was given out and enjoyed.
