Celebration of Champions

The Yankees are back on top after defeating the Phillies 7-3 last night and christening the new Yankee Stadium with a 27th World Series Cup. And while America loves beloved Bronx bombers A-Rod, Jeter and Posada, it was Hideki Matsui that put the World in World Series MVP by becoming the first Japanese-born player to win the award. Matsui hit 8 for 13 in the Series including three home runs and eight RBIs, tying the record for RBIs in a Series Game in Game 6. Outfielder Nick Swisher was yelling “Matsu Matsu” over and over in the clubhouse as the party continued. Matsui signed with the Yankees in 2003 and as his future (And Johnny Damon’s) is undecided, it is ironic that his greatest achievement may have come in his final game in pinstripes. As the party continues all over the country (okay maybe not Philadelphia or Boston), you can join in with some great cocktails like NeuroGasm and champagne.

Other celebratory drink recipes include:

Heavy Hitter

- 2 OZ vodka

- 3 OZ NeuroGasm

- Squeeze of lime

Curve Ball

- 1.5 OZ Vodka

- 2 OZ Neuro Sonic

- 1 OZ Cranberry Juice

- 1 OZ Orange Juice
