Trim Turkey Trots

November 30th, 2009

For some of us, Thanksgiving weekend was spent eating turkey and watching football, but for others, the weekend became an opportunity to burn off calories and get heart rates up and circulation flowing in 5K and 10K runs in San Diego, Santa Monica and Merced. NeuroTrim helped competitors control their appetite and reduce cravings for leftovers as serious runners, weekend warriors and families came together to burn some carbs and have some fun. After the races, parents rehydrated with NeuroSport and watched as their kids competed in their own mini races including the “Widdle Wobble” at the Santa Monica Gobble Wobble and the 1K kids walk at the Merced Turkey Trot. Not only were the runs a great way to get fit, but they also helped those in need. Father Joe’s Thanksgiving Day 5K in San Diego raised enough money to serve over 1.7 million meals! For everyone who isn’t in 10K shape, now is a great time to hit the pavement with some NeuroSport and start your own running routine.
