Calorie Cutting Cocktails

During the holidays,  all the cocktail parties and drinks thrust at you make it hard to stick to a diet. Mind these calorie cutting tips to keep those holiday pounds from piling on.

Limit your alcoholic beverages, period. You may have more than the recommended two per day at a special event, but try not to drink too much. You just end up looking silly and feeling rotten the next day.

Seek out mixed drinks that have low calorie mixers. NeuroTrim is perfect for pairing with an alcohol like vodka. All the Neuro Beverages are only 35 calories, a lot less than cranberry juice, and go well with champagne, tequila, whiskey — whatever your poison.

Mix drinks with soda water or regular water. Or, alternate a glass of water when drinking, to dilute the amount of calories. NeuroAqua is perfect, as it positively affects your pH balance – lessening the after-effects of over-indulging by neutralizing acids in your body.

Use a lot of ice. This helps your drink become naturally diluted which means fewer calories, and you’ll automatically drink less.

Watch out for complicated mixes. Anything sweet, sour or a mixture of both tends to be very high in calories. They also are packed with sugar. If it tastes like dessert, don’t order it.
