Running Down a Dream

January 11th, 2010

Running for a good cause is nothing new, but something to continue to support, as Neuro did in Fresno this past weekend. The 6 Mile Run benefited the Central Valley High School Seniors, showing that higher education is a goal with striving for.

The 16th annual scholarship run was the first run of the year in the Valley Runner of the Year series. This important race started at 6:15 am with hundreds of people from the Fresno community showing up to show their support for this important issue by participating in the run and standing on the sidelines cheering on their families. Proceeds alleviate some of the financial strain associated with attaining a higher education, enabling students to pursue their goal of self improvement and do so successfully. NeuroTrim was waiting for them at the end of their 6 mile run. Runners were excited about this natural aid in helping them maintain their fitness. Even Ashley Swearengin  — The Mayor of Fresno — showed full support of this event by running with her community!
