Here at Neuro we intend to do everything in our power to help Haiti and are encouraged by the way Hollywood is taking the reins and getting involved.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $1 million dollars and will work closely with friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.

Tyra Banks is urging fans to donate to the Yele organization to help the Haitian earthquake relief effort, as are actress Jessica Alba and rap mogul Sean Combs through Twitter. Also on the Twitter bandwagon are Ashton Kutcher, Rainn Wilson, Olivia Wilde, John Legend, Alyssa Milano, Selena Gomez, E!’s Sal Masekela and countless others, guiding people to charity and relief organizations where you can donate and contribute to the rescue efforts in Haiti.
Haitian native and “Heroes” cast member Jimmy Jean-Louis is the founder of Hollywood Unites for Haiti, a nonprofit organization whose original mission was to provide sports and cultural education to underprivileged youth on the island. Now in the wake of this devastating tragedy, the group is mobilizing for disaster relief. You can donate money or equipment to Jimmy Jean-Louis charity, Hollywood Unites for Haiti here.
George Clooney plans to host a telethon to raise funds through MTV. He has already reached out to countless fellow artists including Sting and Trudi Styler. Earlier today, the Golden Globe-producing Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced it would be donating $100,000 to the cause. The US has pledged $100 million and that’s just the beginning. The American Red Cross’s efforts to get donations via text messages has raised $5 million for Haiti as of 5 pm today. Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton have agreed to help the Obama administration’s efforts by taping public service announcements and eventually traveling to Haiti, according to officials.
After so much pain and suffering, the people of Haiti deserve our help and support. Please find it in your heart to do whatever you can to bring ease to a suffering nation — no matter how small your contribution — everything helps.
