Running for a good cause is nothing new, but something to continue to support, as Neuro did in Fresno this past weekend. The 6 Mile Run benefited the Central Valley High School Seniors, showing that higher education is a goal with striving for.

The 16th annual scholarship run was the first run of the year in the Valley Runner of the Year series. This important race started at 6:15 am with hundreds of people from the Fresno community showing up to show their support for this important issue by participating in the run and standing on the sidelines cheering on their families. Proceeds alleviate some of the financial strain associated with attaining a higher education, enabling students to pursue their goal of self improvement and do so successfully. Over 2,500 people came out for the Come Play in the Jungle event. It  took place in an expansive ranch style estate in Hidden Hills California. The estate has the largest residential pool in the nation. The pool had multiple water falls, caves with hot tubs and meandering rivers.

Aside from the 2,500 party goers, the event was populated by wild animals! Fitting with the jungle theme, throughout the party were lots of animals. There were camels and elephants giving rides. There were enclosures for a lion, a baby bear, a timber wolf pup, a llama, parrots and more.
